Former Resident Dies In Texas
Mrs. Bertha Bartholomew, 82, died at her home in San Antonio, Tex., March 15, according to word received Monday by nieces, Mrs. E. C. Schreiber, Mrs. George Haworth and Mrs. Nora Igo. Mrs. Bartholomew was born and raised at Palmyra and lived in Indianola for a time. Her husband, James Bartholomew, died while they were living at Ipswich, S. D., several weeks ago. Services were held at the First Baptist Church in San Antonio, Tuesday, March 20.
