Andrew J. McDole is Taken by Death
Services for A. J. McDole, 94, who died Wednesday morning in the Indianola Hospital were held Thursday, Dec 14, at 2:30 at the Orr Funeral Home, Dr. W. C. Hilmer was in charge of the services. Mr. McDole suffered a stroke Thursday of last week and was taken to the hospital Saturday. Mr. McDole lived on a farm one and one-half miles northeast of Indianola for 40 years before moving to Indianola 18 years ago. Surviving are his wife and his children, Mrs. Dean Cue and Clarence McDole of Indianola. A grandson, Pvt. Nile McDole, has been spending a furlough in Indianola and will leave today for Fort Meade, Md. [copied from a scrapbook at the Warren County Historical Society Library, Indianola, IA]
