John Clark Long
(October 31, 1926 - June 17, 2019)

John Clark Long, born October 31, 1926 passed on to heaven June 17, 2019. If you knew John you won't be surprised to hear he's in heaven telling a joke and offering St. Peter some scotch.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ella (Falck) Long. He is survived by his wife Peggy, two daughters Ann (Larry) Richards of Indianola, Iowa, and Mary (Bob) Oberg of Galesburg, Illinois; grandchildren, Sean Callison, Jessica (Sam) Hart, Kate Stewart, and Casey Richards, three great-grandchildren, Astrid, Lily, and Dakota.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg, IL. A celebration of life will be held in Galesburg at his favorite location for sharing a joke and enjoying a drink.
