(September 29, 1938 - October 8, 2019)

Carol Elaine Wallace, 81, of Carlisle, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a memorial gathering in Mason City later in October.
Carol was born on September 29, 1938 in Mason City, Iowa to Donald and Marian Davis. She received her teaching degree and taught elementary school. Carol married the love of her life Larry Wallace in 1963, becoming a military wife. She loved their time overseas in Germany. Carol loved family above all else and treasured her time with her siblings and many nieces and nephews. Carol was a crossword puzzle genius and loved bird watching. She enjoyed feeding her "critters" and watching Jeopardy.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Sharon(Bill)Sharp and Lois(Dallas)Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry, sisters Marilyn and Betty and brothers Richard, Leslie and Robert.
