Orlin Wayne Kroneman
(November 15, 1931 - December 9, 2019)

Indianola IA Orlin Wayne Kroneman, 88, died Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society in Indianola IA.
Survived by his wife Jill Kroneman; his son, Matt and (wife) Amanda; three grandchildren Lidia, Austin, and Joshua; sister Elaine Olson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Merle, Dale, and Laverne Kroneman.
Orlin was born and raised in the Mason City IA area, the son of Clarence and Adeline Kroneman. He moved to Indianola IA in 2006 to be near his grandchildren.
In his early years, Orlin attended Wartburg College in Waverly IA. In 1952, he joined the U.S. Army Artillery. He met his wife, Jill Sheeley, at the Surf Ball Room in Clear Lake IA and they were married in 1957 at the Presbyterian Church in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Orlin retired from Gildner's formal wear after 25 years of service. He enjoyed touring and traveling to Ireland, Hawaii, Florida and a Caribbean cruise. He had a passion for refinishing furniture and growing flowers (especially day lilies).
Orlin enjoyed his grandchildren, bowling, golfing, playing pool, bird watching, and old western movies. Orlin is loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
