Mysteriously Shot

M. McCarthy, living 4 miles west of Cummings, went out to the granary in the evening to look after things before going to bed. He was found soon after fatally wounded by shooting. He was a widower 45 years old and had one child 15 years old. The one who did the shooting is not known.
