OBITUARY – Adna R. “Pat” Broers
Former Norwalk resident, Adna R. “Pat” Broers, died Wednesday, Feb 1, at her Harrison Regent Retirement apartment in Ogden, UT of natural causes at the age of 90. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Born January 17, 1922 in Thompson, IA, she was the daughter of George and Luena Stuart. She graduated from Thompson High School and attended beauty school in Iowa Falls. In 1946, she married Ezral R. “Tom” Broers in San Diego, CA. After living in many locations during their Air Force years, they settled in Norwalk, where Pat lived for 40 years. She was a member of Norwalk United Methodist Church and Norwalk Women’s Club.
Survivors include her son, Tom (Gloria) of Layton, UT; grandson, Jason of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Arlene Lillebo of Forest City, Carol Schneider of Antelope, CA and Dorothy (Bill) Bradley of Wichita Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezral and brother, Wayne.
