Mrs. Joe Chumbley Claimed by Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Chumbley, who died Monday evening at her home south of Indianola, will be held at Browns Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Chumbley was one of the oldest residents of the county, having come here from Ohio with her mother, brothers and sisters in 1870. She was married to J. G. Chumbley, in 1876. She is survived by fifty-nine relatives, including daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chumbley had spent the winter in town with her daughters. Mrs. Nannie Middleswart and Mrs. Nora Morrison. She returned to her home in the country about three weeks ago. Mr. Chumbley died in 1931. The children are Mrs. Mary Amos, Mrs. Nora Morrison, Mrs. Nannie Middleswart, Jim, Jode, R. C., Tom, and, Alvor.
