Rhonda Ranee Hook (Moose) of Carlisle, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation for Rhonda will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017, at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Funeral services for Rhonda will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2017, also at Peterson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services at Rhonda’s request. Rhonda was born on July 27, 1963, in Columbia, Missouri to Harley and Melba (Ray) Moore.
Rhonda graduated high school and worked for Wellmark for 34 years. Rhonda loved to dance, golf, play softball, go Black Friday shopping, spend time with friends and family and care for her beloved dog, Bandit.
Rhonda is survived by her husband Kenny Hook of Carlisle; siblings, Kim (John) Cataldo of Carlisle, Scott (Stephanie) Moore of Overland Park, Kansas, Sonja (Todd) Hambleton of Guthrie Center and many nieces and nephews. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Melba; and two sisters, Pam Vitiritto and ArLynn Baber. Memorials for Rhonda may be directed to Alpha-1 Foundation.
