Barbara Clark
(March 4, 1926 - January 3, 2018)

Barbara (Harlin) Clark was born March 4, 1926 in Richmond, IN to parents Howard Rice Harlin and Annabelle Alcorn Harlin. Barbara passed from this life January 3, 2018 at the age of 91.
Barbara became part of the Bennett family as the foster daughter of Grace Daniels who loved her as her own, and nurtured her in a strong Christian environment. At an early age Barbara gave her life to Christ, joining the Church of God and Saints of Christ where she worked diligently for many years.
Barbara attended Richmond public schools and graduated high school. She loved learning and received clerk/typist training and took correspondence courses in food preparation and Bible studies.
Barbara worked at Reid Memorial Hospital and later for the McCrea family. She became “part of the family” and a lifelong friendship developed.
After retirement Barbara moved to Des Moines, IA. She searched and found a new church home at the Philadelphia SDA Church. They became her Des Moines family. She loved her church.
She became a second mother to her niece Marcia Clark and grandmother to Cassius, Octxavier and Dereanna Clark all of Champaign, IL. They mourn her passing along with her sister-in-law, Ellouise Daniels of Richmond, IN and many nephews, nieces, relatives and close friends.
REST SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN AT HIS FEET.
