R. E. Shaw’s Funeral Set
Funeral services for the Rev. R. E. Shaw, 74, of 662 Fourteenth Street place, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Overton funeral home, Indianola, Ia. Burial will also be at Indianola. The Rev. C. Clifford Bacon, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Des Moines, will officiate. The Rev. Mr. Shaw had been a member of the Des Moines Methodist Church conference for 50 years. He retired from active work three years ago. He is survived by the widow, two sons, Dr. E. E. Shaw, Indianola; Stuart M. Shaw, New York, N.Y.; two daughters, Miss Mary Shaw, Minneapolis, Minn.; Miss Ethel Shaw, New Concord, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. Ida S. Calvert, Des Moines.
