Mrs. Robert Freeborn
Elizabeth Snow was born in Coshockton county, Ohio, April 29th, 1840 and died at Rosebud, Montana, January 17, 1918, aged 77 years and 8 weeks.
She was united in marriage with Robert Freeborn, February 1858. To this union five children were born – Sarah Jane died in infancy; George, of Rosebud, Mont., Wm. of Campstool, Wyoming, Alva, of Corning and Mrs. Alice King of Harper, Colorado. Two sisters Mrs. Irene Maxwell of Clear Creek township and Mrs. Charlotte Hanna, of Buckner, Missouri, and two brothers, Alvin and Darius Snow, of Knoxville, survive.
She united with the M.E. church in youth and was ever a faithful member. She was a good mother and true friend to the sick and needy.
The family lived in this vicinity years ago, later at St. Charles and at Corning, going to Rosebud, Mont., March 1, 1917.
Since her husband’s death thirty-one years ago, she and her son George kept the home fires burning.
The body was shipped to St. Charles Tuesday and the funeral services were held there, and interment was made in the family lot beside her loved ones gone on.
