Martin Evert Gardner
(April 16, 1929 - March 24, 2015)

Martin E. Gardner, 85, of Carlisle, died March 24, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Des Moines, Polk County and was a farmer most of his life in Warren County.
Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Prall) Gardner. He is survived by his three daughters, Pamela Frank of Minneapolis, MN, Brenda King of Altoona, IA, and Elizabeth Wedemeyer of Colleyville, TX; three grandchildren, Ryan Armstrong, Brenton and Clarissa Wedemeyer.
