Ronald Eugene Anderson
(February 17, 1955 - March 29, 2015)

Ronald Eugene Anderson passed away Sunday, March 30, 2015 in Davenport, Iowa. Funeral services for Ron will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. A visitation with Ron's family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 also at Peterson Funeral Home. Ronald, the son of Jack and Betty Anderson, was born February 17, 1955, in Knoxville Iowa. Ron worked for 3M in Knoxville for over 30 years. Ron was active in many sporting events while attending Carlisle High School, with many records and awards in football, basketball and baseball. Ron was nominated for the Iowa High School Hall of Fame in 2014. In his later years slow pitch ball became his passion. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved son Benjamin Joseph Anderson and his sister Teresa Doan Anderson. Those left to celebrate Ron's life are his parents, Jack and Betty; three sisters, Linda Anderson (Scott), Sherry Anderson (Jeff) and Barb Damerval (Craig). several nieces and nephews.
