(May 14, 1930 - February 17, 2016)

Harold L. Luick of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice. Celebration of Life for Harold will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday February 22, 2016 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, Iowa. There will be a luncheon following services at Peterson Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa later this spring. Harold is survived by his wife Barbara Luick ; daughter Karla (Denny) Hougham, son Michael Sanford; step-children Tracie Matthais, Tom (Kari) Lancaster, Jay (Jessica Habhab) Lancaster, sister Charlotte Brady and sister in law Linda Wallis; 1 great-grandchild, 9 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren. Harold was the founder of Professional Musicians and Entertainers Club of Iowa. Harold was a musician, a recording engineer and the founder of Country Music Showcase International. Harold also owned Kajac Recording Studio. In its 12 years, Kajac produced 648 albums and 400 rpms. Harold also owned 2 publishing companies. Harold was a loving and caring person.
