Robert John Hillock
(March 14, 1935 - February 19, 2016)

Robert J. Hillock (Bob) 80 years old of Carlisle, IA passed peacefully at Taylor House in Des Moines, IA on Friday February 19th, 2016 to join his son, Kris Allan Hillock.
Bob was born on March 14th, 1935 in Cedar Rapids, IA and recently celebrated his 61st wedding anniversary. Bob had been retired from the FAA since 2000 but had continued working at Menards part time for the last 12 years.
Survived by his wife; Ruth Hillock of Carlisle, Daughter’s; Karol Hillock and Tracy Rector (Richard Rector) also of Carlisle, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and one brother Richard Hillock. Dad, Grandpa & Pa Pa………..you will be greatly missed, you will forever live on in our hearts and through the life lessons you have taught us all! We love you!

and I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes, filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things
we did or didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,

for every time you think of me,
I’m right there in your heart.

No service or viewing will be held, the family will be laying his ashes to rest with his son in the spring.Donations are welcome in memory of Robert J.
