(January 10, 1924 - November 10, 2016)

Leo Rodney Clark passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Carlisle Care Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Carlisle City Cemetery. Leo was born on January 10, 1924 near Milo, Iowa to Greta(Clarey) and Clarence Clark. Leo married Bonnie Marsh Russell on April 5, 1966. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2016. To this marriage a daughter Brenda was born. Leo accepted Jesus Christ in his heart at Browns Chapel and baptized in John Long’s pond. Leo worked a lifetime raising his family. Leo retired from Hallett Construction and was a member of Local #234 since 1995. Leo is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie of Carlisle; children, Richard Clark, Sheri(Joe)McConnell, Amy Leonard, Cathy(Richard)Roth, Mike(Donna)Russell, Cindy(Ted)Haltner, Tim(Dawn)Russell, Tina(Patrick)Slykhuis and Brenda(Jeff)King, a lot of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
