(August 31, 1959 - April 17, 2017)

Cindy Lee Breuklander passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services for Cindy will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery. Cindy was born on August 31, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa to Leo and Rose Sams. Cindy graduated Indianola High School and married Ed Breuklander. Cindy and Ed raised 2 boys together, Jason and Chris. Cindy worked at Little Miracles day care for 10 years before becoming a stay at home mom and homemaker. She enjoyed doing crafts and loved to entertain her grandchildren.
Cindy is survived by her husband Ed of Indianola; sons, Jason (Amy) Breuklander of Knoxville and Chris (Mandy) Breuklander of Des Moines; mother Rose of Osceola; siblings, Dave Sams of Osceola, Kathy(Tom)George of Indianola and Joyce Sams of Des Moines, and her grandchildren, Ariel Breuklander, Chase Breuklander, Riley Breuklander, Uriah Breuklander, Emma Kendall and Gage Kendall.
