Stephen Frederick Foster
(October 1, 1945 - May 4, 2017)

Steve Foster age 71, was born on October 1, 1945 in Indianola Iowa to Preston and Ellen Belle (McClelland) Foster. He passed away on May 4, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
He was a lifelong resident of Indianola, graduating from Indianola High School in 1964. He was an owner of Foster Powell Dance in Indianola and Clive along with Richard Powell. In high school, he was a drummer in the band. After high school he played drums professionally. Steve is survived by his two children, Ellen Foster of Nagoya, Japan and Scott Foster of Indianola. He is preceded in death by his parents Preston Foster and Ellen Belle Foster. His visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Any memorials can be given in Steve’s name.
