Services for Alice Pearl Chamberlain, 100, who passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 6 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Jean (Richard) Smith; 7 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; and 37 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, N. Keith Chamberlain and Elmer Bargenquast; sons, Robert (Helen) Bargenquast and Lyle Henry Bargenquast; brother, Alfred (Alice) Laver; sister, Doris May (Everett) Gaer; granddaughter, Lynnette Simmer; and great-grandson, Brandon Lass.
Visitation will be held with family present from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Memorials may be given in her name to the American Heart Association or the University of Iowa Sarcoma Research.
