Obituary – Harold Mitchell
Harold Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Mitchell was born in Lucas County, near Lacona on October 8, 1894, and departed this life on July 23, 1956, at his farm home. He was the only son of a family of twelve, nine of whom preceded him in death, including his twin sister, Hazel. He married Lelia Sinift on October 20, 1920 and was the father of three children. He was a member of the Lacona Methodist church. Surviving members of his family are his wife, one son, Don at home, two daughters, Mrs. Richard Grant (Marjorie) of Norman, Okla, and Mrs. Ronald Puderbaugh (Genevieve) of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Van Parkins of Lacona and Mrs. Icil Manser of near Newbern, and five grand children, John and Lois Jean Puderbaugh of Des Moines and Michael, Bruce and Eric Grant of Norman Oklahoma.
