Anna Heller Wachter
Anna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Heller, was born September 15, 1882 in Marion County, Iowa, and died July 16, 1956 at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 1 day. She was united in marriage to Francis Wachter July 24, 1908. Mr. Wachter preceded her in death January 4, 1943. Mrs. Wachter was a resident of Milo until 16 years ago, when she moved to Des Moines. She is survived by seven daughters: Mrs. Matthias Wadle (Blanche) of Knoxville, Mrs. Gervase Ohnemus (Esther) of Des Moines, Mrs. Lloyd Morgan (Grace) of Mitchellville, Mrs. Vernon Tomlinson (Ruth) of Des Moines, Mrs. Edward Mertes (Pauline) of Adair, Mrs. Donald McCauley (Margaret) of St Marys, Mrs. Herbert Walk (Martha) of Milo; three sons, Joseph, Francis and Charles Austin, all of Des Moines; a brother, Clemet Heller of Oak Park, Ill; one sister, Mrs. Loretta Hall of Oak Park, Ill; also 31 grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Julia Cleveland, surviving her only ten days. Services were held at 8:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 18 at Christ the King church in Des Moines. Burial at Glendale cemetery.
