MRS. CARL MEILIKE DIES AT 92 YEARS

Mrs. Carl Meilike, aged 92, who had lived on a farm near St. Charles for 55 years, died Sunday, March 23, at a nursing home in Des Moines. She had been ill one week.

Mrs. Meilike was a native of Germany, but came to this country in early life. She was a charter member of St Paul’s Lutheran church at Martensdale.

She is survived by four sons, John F. Meilike of Altoona, Alfred W. Meilike of Prole, and George and Frank Meilike of St. Charles. She also leaves six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Lutheran church at Martensdale.

Mrs. Carl Meilike died Sunday at a Des Moines nursing home. She was 92 years of age, and had been ill for one week. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the St. Paul Lutheran church in Martensdale, where she was a charter member. She had lived on a farm near St. Charles for 55 years. She is survived by four sons, John F. of Altoona, Alfred W. of Prole, George and Frank of St. Charles.
