BERTHA A. LIZOTTE
(March 2, 1938 - April 11, 2008)

Memorial services for Bertie Lizotte, 70, who passed away Friday, April 11, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, at the Overton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Inurnment of cremains will be in the I.0.0. F. Memorial Cemetery Gardens Cemetery in Indianola.
Bertie was born March 2, 1938, in Anson, Maine, the oldest child of of Norbert and Marie (Davis) Morrison. She married James Lizotte and they lived in Washington, D.C. for many years before moving to Indianola in the mid 1970's. Bertie was an avid reader and accomplished home cook. She loved crossward puzzles, dogs and sharing a joke with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years Jim; her son, Jamie. and his wife, Treasa and their children, Sydney and Jacques of Pleasantville; a daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Brian Brown, and their twin sons, Davis and Henry of Denver Colorado; a brother, Norbert Morrison of Providence, Rhode Island.
