Caroline Kimsey
(Oct 4, 1824 - July 31, 1899)

Death of Mrs. James Kimzey.
Caroline Gibson was born in Wayne county, New York October 4, 1824, and died at her home in White Breast township, July 31, 1899, age 75 years, 6 months and 27 days. She was married to Joel Leland in 1843 and to this union was born one child, Mariah V. She was married to James Kimsey in 1855 and to this union was born one son, George; both of her children survived her. Mrs. Kimsey united with the M. E. church in 1857. Funeral services were conducted by C. S. Fair at the family residence, August 1, after which the body was laid to rest in the Plainville Cemetery.
