Edna Fay Kendall
(Feb 26, 1908 - Jan 28, 1909)

Edna Fay Kendall, daughter of Thomas and Nancy Kendall, was born February 26, 1908, and departed this life January 28, 1909, aged 11 months and two days. She leaves a father, mother, two sisters and five brothers, besides many others to mourn her loss. Think of her not as dead, but living; not as a flower that is withered, but one that is transplated and touched by a Divine hand, blooming in a richer color, and sweeter shades than those on earth.
Our sweet little Edna Pay is gone; on earth we will see her no more. We will try to be good while we live, and meet her on yonder bright shore. We know she is happy up there, and waiting for loved ones to come, but Oh, how sad and lonely we feel since sweet little Edna Fay is gone. Funeral services were conducted by C. G. Hollingsworth and C. S. Fair, at the Hammondsburg church after which the remains were laid to rest in cemetery near by. May God bless the bereaved family.
