Obitnary—Nancy Stapleford
Nancy Fridley Stapleford was born August 19, 1833, and died at her home in Milo, Iowa, April 17, 1911, age 77 years. 7 months, and 28 days.
She was united in marriage with Daniel Stapleford, Buffalo, Iowa, in the year of 1856. To this union were born six children, three sons and three daughters, Frank, Lucy, Marian Luiza, Henry and Alice.
The husband and father passed to the great beyond October 5, 1903. The four children had also proceeded her to the home of the soul. The two sons, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and a host of friends are left to mourn her departure. When quite young she was converted and for a number of years was member of the Christian church and in her old age found comfort and support in a Saviour's a love. Funeral services were conducted by C. S. Fair at the home April 20, after which the body was taken to Hammondsburg and laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
