Gone To Her Eternal Home
Mary Ann Robinson was born, May 19, 1815,in the state of New York. Died Jan. 15, 1908, at the home of her son near Milo, Iowa, aged 92 years, 7 mo. and 26 days. She was married to Francis C. Wilcott Dec. 28, 1840, to this union were born six children, two girls and four boys: Adelbert M., Nancy E., and Orlin T. who have gone on over the river; leaving Ambrose R. of Alhambra, California, Annis M. Bellows of Polo, Ill., and Orson B, of Milo, Iowa, to mourn her departure. While she never united with any church organization, she was a believer in the Christian religion and has gone home to rest. She was of an industrious and energetic nature, loving home and home surroundings. Thus another long life is ended, few people indeed attain to the age of this dear old grandma. Funeral services were conducted by C. S. Fair at Plainville Chapel Jan. 16th. All that was mortal of Grandma Wilcott lies beneath the sod, but the immortal lives and whispers to the ear and heart in the old sweet tones of the joy of a coming reunion.
