Obituary
Jesse T. Davis was born at Bloomingdale, Indiana, Feb 3, 1871 and passed from this life to a life where suffering is unknown on Jan 25, 1908 at Milo, Iowa, aged 36 years, 11 months and 22 days.
He was converted and joined the Methodist church about fifteen years ago, while still living in Indiana. He remained a faithful member of this church until the time of his death. His was a good consistent Christian life. On Nov 1, 1905, he was united in marriage to Miss Flora Williams of Milo, Iowa. To this union was born one child, Nora Francis, who, with his wife, five bothers and four sisters are left to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Tuesday morning Jan 28 at 10 o’clock. Rev Tennant preached from 2nd Samuel 14:14, and was followed by an address by Rev Fair. Appropriate selections were sung by the choir after which the body was laid to rest in the city of the dead.
