Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA, date unknown:

Ferman George Wadle, 80, of Indianola died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola, and burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.

Mr. Wadle was born in Lacona and moved to Indianola in 1978 from St. Marys. He had been a farmer and retired from a management position with Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He was a member of the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife, Luella; two daughters, Evelyn Wadle of Adel and Joyce Frericks of Kansas City, Kan.; seven sons, Clifford of Redfield, Larry of St Marys, Tom of Mesa, Ariz., Dick of Martensdale, Pat of Englewood, Ohio, Lou of Polk City and Lon of Ankeny; two sisters, Alice Konrad of Lacona and Ida Heller of Sterling, Mass.; 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Petersons Funeral Home, where there will be an 8 p.m. prayer service and an 8:45 p.m. vigil service. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
