Myrtle Jane Curtis, 86, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday at Good Samaritan Care Center there, where she was a resident. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, with burial at Milo IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs Curtis was born in Runnells and had lived in Des Moines for 40 years before moving to Indianola. She was a retired supervisor with Look magazine in Des Moines.

Survivors include two sons, Wink of Des Moines and George of Salem, Ore., a daughter, Betty Kading of Indianola; three brothers, Virgil Town of Ankeny, Ray Town of Granite Falls, Wash., and Tom Town of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Sylvia Dewey of Milo; and 14 grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianola Good Samaritan Care Center.
