Marvel L. Clark, 81, of Lacona died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of complications following a Stroke. Services were held Aug. 3 at Lacona United Methodist Church, with burial at Shaver Cemetery in Warren County.

Mrs. Clark lived in Lacona all her life, was a former telephone operator and had been a member of Rainbow Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Dwaine, in 1967.

Survivors include two sons, James and Dwaine, both of Lacona; five daughters, Helen Currin of Dalton, Ga., Marie Seuferer of Lacona, Alberta Rooker of Milo, Jackie Baker of Des Moines and Joy Appenzeller of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Helen Bates of Lacona; 18 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Mosher Funeral Home handled arrangements.
