Barbara Jane Sinclair, 64, of Indianola died of cancer Saturday at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. The body will be cremated following services, and burial will be at Sandyville Cemetery.

Mrs. Sinclair was born near Beech and had lived in Warren County most of her life before moving to Indianola 27 years ago. She was a retired assistant administrator for Red Rock Community Action and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Melcher.

She is survived by her husband, Leo; a daughter, Kathy Pierschbacher of Chariton; three sons, Jerry and Terry, both of Milo, and Tom of Indianola; four brothers, Danny Smith of Lacona, Gerald Smith of Sandyville and Jerry Smith and Ray Smith, both of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
