Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 1-18-2009:

Donna L. Smith, age 67 of Earlham, Iowa died at her home on Saturday January 17, 2009, following a brief battle with cancer.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday January 20, 2009, at the Earlham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham where the family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Middle River Hospice or the Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Cindy Villotti of Earlham; daughter, Shelley Weeks; and husband, Bob of Winterset; son, Mark Smith and wife Julie of Winterset; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Mitchell of Des Moines; brothers, Larry Sloan and wife, Jan of Madrid and Bob Sloan of Adel; 16 nieces and nephews and many friends as well as her faithful companion, her loving Pomeranian, "Toby".
