Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, US on 1-17-2010:

Lawrence Seuferer, 92, died on January 15, 2010. Lawrence was born on October 27, 1917 to Henry and Mary Seuferer in Lacona, IA. He was raised on a farm with his eight siblings, Grace, Irene, Mildred, Florence, Edward, William, Jeff and Johnny.

He served in the Air Force during WWII for seven years in the Military Police. Lawrence retired from Firestone.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; son Robert (Kathy) McMains; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines. Visitation on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2 to 5 p.m., funeral service on Tuesday, January 19 at 1 p.m.
