Victoria Anna Wadle, 82, of 234 S.W. Watrous Ave. died of a heart ailment Saturday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Wadle was born in Lacona and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She was a homemaker, a Fatima Pilgrim Statue Sponsor, and a member of Christ the King Altar and Rosary Society and Catholics United for the Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; four sons, Terrance, Delno and David, all of Des Moines, and Charles of West Des Moines; a daughter, Sharon Spinharney of Eden Prairie, Minn.; a brother, John Schneider of Tipton; and 29 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tonini Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholics United for the Faith.
