Mary Catherine Lippold, 87, of St. Marys died of a heart ailment Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. Services were held June 2 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at St. Marys Cemetery.

Mrs. Lippold was born in Des Moines and lived in St. Marys since 1934, where she was a retired homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, W.J. "Bill"; three sons. Eugene of Osceola, Dennis of Des Moines, and Floyd of St. Joseph, Mich.; two daughters, Geraldine Gambrell of Orange Park, Fla., and Kathleen Morre of Littleton, Colo.; three sisters, Jean Klemm and Marcene Klemm of Adrian, Mich., and Ceclia Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, John Klemm of Des Moines and James Klemm of Tucson, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
