Services for Grace Bolton Battles, 64, of 1120 Cummins Road, who died of cancer Saturday at Broadlawns Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchellville Cemetery in Mitchellville.
Mrs. Battles was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She worked at Uniform World until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the Sheridan Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; two sons, David Bolton of Carlisle and William Bolton of Des Moines; a daughter, Lori Hitchner of Key Largo, Fla.; two stepsons, Larry Bolton of Greenville, Texas, and Gary Battles of Shenandoah; a sister, Eleanor Watkins of Des Moines; a brother, Ray Kirkman of Fairfield; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
