Anabel Nussbaum, 80, of Des Moines died of a heart ailment, Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at the Hospice of Central Iowa Kavanagh House. Services were held Sept. 2 at Highland Park Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, with interment at Newbern Cemetery in rural Lacona.

Mrs. Nussbaum was born in Buffalo Center, and had lived in Des Moines for 55 years.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and church activities.

Survivors include her husband, Corwin; a daughter, Cathy Hall of Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Ronn of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Russ of Greensboro, N.C.; two brothers, George Kinsey of Chariton, and Harry Kinsey of Indianola; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kavanagh House or Highland Park Lutheran Church.

Mosher Funeral Home of Lacona handled arrangements.
