Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 9-6-1989:

Kelsie C. Kinder, 82, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday, Sept. 2, 1989, at Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m. at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, with burial in Belmont Cemetery there.

Mr. Kinder was born in New Hampton, Mo., and lived in Milo before moving to Indianola. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are five sons, Jim Hunter and Pat Hunter of Indianola, David Hunter and Jerry Hunter, both of Milo, and Donald Hunter of Des Moines; three daughters, Mona Van Dorn of Milo, Donna Greer of Omaha, Neb., and Joyce Hunter of West Des Moines; a foster daughter, Linda Rodish of West Des Moines; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
