Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 12-25-1985:

Wilma Pauline (Keller) Bumbarger died Oct. 18 at Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton at the age of 75 years.

Wilma was born Nov. 15, 1909, at home on a farm east of New Virginia. She was the oldest of six children born to John F. and Roxie Miller Keller, followed by three brothers, Dale, Donald and Worth and two sisters, Mildred and Mona.

On March 12, 1932, she was united in marriage to Everett Bumbarger and they made their home for the past 53 years in Chariton. To this union was born three daughters, Mrs. Clemmie (Leona) Hoch of Lacona, Mrs. John (Ruth) Porter of Indianola, and Mrs. Monte (Norma) Baker of Grand River.

Through the years Wilma has been in many organizations such as Rebekahs, PTA, church circle, mother advisor for Theta Rho girls, assistant director of church choir, and anything the girls would volunteer her for. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Chariton. She loved to crochet, knit, mak crafts, play music and do reading in her spare time.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband; daughters; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Dale Keller of New Virginia; one sister, Mona Taylor of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and a step-mother, Lydia Keller of Arizona.

Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Hambleton officiating. Bearers were Larry Hoch, Jon Porter, Doyle Gripp, Byron Payton, Merrill Gripp, and Clifford Hoch. Interment was at the New Virginia Cemetery.

Services for Wilma Bumbarger, 75, of Chariton, who died of emphysema Friday at Lucas County Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fielding Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Virginia Cemetery there.
Mrs. Bumbargaer was born in new Virginia. She was a homemaker and a member of Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Everett; three daughters, Leona Hoch of Lacona, Ruth Porter of Indianola and Norma Jean Baker of Grand River; a brother, Dale Keller of New Virginia; a sister, Mona Taylor of Siloam Springs, Ark.; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
