Vera Angelina "Lina" Hunter, 87, of Des Moines died of pneumonia Monday, Sept. 27, 1993, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services were held Sept. 30 at Liberty Center United Methodist Church, with burial at Liberty Center Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunter, a homemaker, was born in Warren County and moved to Des Moines about 25 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1967.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Sr. of Des Moines and Fred of Bagley; two daughters, Betty Seuferer of Lacona and Barbara Woodyard of Carlisle; a brother, Elbert Judkins of Orland, Calif.; two sisters, Gladys Hastings of Lacona and Winnie Hastings of Liberty Center; 17 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Mosher Funeral Home handled arrangements.
