Gladys Leona Hasting, 84, of Indianola died of a respiratory ailment Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Sept. 1 at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, with burial at Liberty Center Cemetery.

Mrs. Hasting was born in Warren County and lived in Liberty Center many years, moving to the care center in Indianola two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Velma Turner of Lacona, Lois Davis of Clio and Edna Blanchard of San Angelo, Texas; two sons, David of Clio and Dwane of Freeport, Ill.; a sister, Winnie Hasting of Liberty Center; a brother, Elbert Judkins of Orland, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
