Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 2-25-2008:

Pauline Winona Cochran, 94, died on February 22, 2008 at the Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Swan, Iowa on July 11, 1913.

She was the Assistant Vice President at American Republic Insurance and a member of the Des Moines Women's Club, Grace United Methodist Church, and National Office Managers Association.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 1991.

She is survived by her son Jerry (Sally) Cochran of Hoboken, New Jersey; daughter, Sharon (Harry) of Coralville, Iowa; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 26 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.

It is Suggested that memorial gifts be made to the Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund.
