Services for Harold Lloyd Johnson, 77, who passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010, in Las Vegas, NV, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.
A Military Interment will be held in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. A luncheon will follow service.
Harold was born in Stuart, IA to Earl Johnson and Mabel Putney on October 5, 1933.
Raised in Indianola, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He worked for Hornaday Plumbing & Heating Company for over 30 years.
In 1955, he married Ruby Pihl and they had four children.
Harold is survived by his wife, Ruby, daughters Sandra and Susan, grandchildren Christina, Amanda, Jeremy, Mark, Mike, Michelle, and Cody,12 great grandchildren, brothers Ernest, Victor, and Larry, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by two sons, Carl in 1976, and Harold, Jr. in 2006, his parents, Earl and Mabel Johnson, and four sisters, Eudora, Irene, Louise, and Shirley.
Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 17 at Peterson Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
