Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 3-3-2005:

Elwood Bryce "Bud" Hutt, 88, died February 28, 2005 at Chariton Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Elwood was born November 8, 1916 in Indianola, Iowa. He was a self employed plumber and a member of I.O.O.F. #70.

Bud is survived by his son, Rex Arlo "Tony" Hutt of Garden Grove; daughter-in-law, Janet (Pete) Wilson of Des Moines; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and special friend, Louise Decker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille J. Hutt; son, Glenn "Blackie" Hutt and grandson, Bryce Hutt.

Visitation with the family is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a 7 p.m. Odd Fellow service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the I.O.O.F. Lodge #70.
