George Vernon Hunerdosse, 77, of Indianola, died Saturday Nov. 19, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center. Visitation with family present, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Fraternal Odd Fellows service will be at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home with burial at I.O.O.F Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hunerdosse was a lifelong resident of Warren County where he farmed and raised livestock on a farm south of Indianola. For the past five years he had been a bus driver for Indianola Community School District. He was active in the Farm Bureau and Warren County Republican Party and was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 70.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Hon; and a grandson Chuck Thurman.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey of Indianola; three daughters, Sandra Lee Hunerdosse Lisk of Indianola, Carla Ann Ball of Indianola, and Debra Kay Bingham of Melcher Dallas; three brothers, Darl and Wayne of Indianola and Roland of Knoxville; a sister, Neola Hawk of Davenport; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Farm Bureau Youth Scholarship Program.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 22 at the funeral home, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Fraternal Odd Fellows services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Farm Bureau Youth Scholarship Program.
