Connie M. Rodgers, 49, of Indianola died of cancer Saturday, Oct. 3,1998, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 6, with rosay service at 6 p.m. and a scripture service at 7 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with burial at Indianola IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Des Moines and had lived in Milo 14 years before moving to Indianola six years ago. She was a client representative with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Survivors include a son, Travis Rodgers of Oakdale; two stepdaughters, Cindy Lentzkow of Colfax and Denise Decker of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, Donald Hoch, a sister, Kim Kastler, and her grandmother, Leona Wadle, all of Indianola; and eight grandchildren. Her companion was Mark Wolfgram of Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Cancer Society.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where there will be a 6 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. scripture service. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Cancer Society.
