Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA, date unknown:

Neil Kimzey Foust, 65, of Chariton, former resident of Indianola, died.

Neil moved to Chariton in 1961 where he was employed by Johnson Machine Works. While an Indianola resident he worked at Pittsburg Des Moines Steel. He retired in 1983.

Neil was serving on the Board of Directors of the Chariton Library and on the Board of Directors of Tenco Industries of Ottumwa. He was also an officer of Chariton Lions Club and on the Mission Board of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Faye of Chariton; two sons, Mark of Waukee and Barry of Lucas; two daughters, Mary Lou McDowell of Des Moines, and Kristin Wolf of Colo.; a brother, Newell Foust of Des Moines; a sister, Vasca Sadler of Altoona; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, Jan. 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Field Funeral Home in Chariton with the Rev. Ronald Stein officiating. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
