Obituary from an unknown newspaper, date unknown, photographed from an Obituary Book at the City Library in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA:

Lyle Warren Foust was born Oct. 16, 1945, and died Nov. 26, 1974. He was the third of five children born to Dale and Virginia Foust.

Dutch, as he was known to his family and friends, was the younger brother to Larry and Judy and the older brother to Bill and Dalene. He was a member of the North River Methodist Church. He attended the Grove Elementary school through the eighth grade. During these years Dutch was a member of the Evansville Little League. Upon the completion of the eighth grade, he attended Indianola High School where he graduated with honors in 1963. While in high school, he was active in Future Farmers of America and was a member of the FFA Cabinet.

In October, 1965, he was drafted and became a member of the Navy. He was discharged in 1967. Since then he has lived and worked in the Indianola vicinity.

Dutch is survived by three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Boothe and K. E. Foust; four nephews and a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Harry Dixson Nov. 29, 1974, at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment was in the North River Cemetery.
